A styled wedding shoot

I’m so excited to share this shoot with you guys! I have been dreaming up this styled wedding shoot for quite some time now. I wanted to find two beautiful models, dress them up like the most stylish bride & groom in some Portland labels that I drool over, put them in a ridiculously awesome location and photograph them looking amazing. So we did just that!

A big part of this project was an opportunity for me to reach out to some of my Portland fashion icons and see if they had any interest loaning, creating, and in some cases, donating some of their products to the shoot. To my amazement, every single vendor that I contacted, agreed to participating in the shoot. I was absolutely blown away by the generosity that some of these huge names showed to my little shoot.

We spent an afternoon a few weeks ago at Champoeg State Park in St. Paul, Oregon. It was a surprisingly warm fall day, perfect for our models to feel comfortable roaming around the park grounds for a few hours.

Huge thanks to my models, Alison and Mike, and my amazing assistants, Lydia and Kevin. I couldn’t have done it without all of your help.

I hope you guys enjoy the photos as much as I do!

  1. Gettin better and better on every shoot. With stuff like this you’ll be shooting high budget Pottery Barn catalogs in no time.
